What’s under the hood
At the core is a sealed quartz heating element that delivers short-wave infrared warmth. The element stays electrically isolated from the outer shell, and the whole assembly is fully enclosed to keep moisture out. Electrically, it runs on standard 120V or 230V, depending on the region, and comes ready for a GFCI safety circuit. The body is IP54 rated, so it can handle humid conditions and splash-prone spots. If it tips over, the built-in tip-over switch cuts power immediately. A thermal cutoff prevents overheating. Heat comes on fast, with no fan noise, and the beam puts the warmth where you actually need it.

What you need to keep in mind
This unit is meant for hardwired installation, or for use with a properly rated outdoor-rated extension cord and a grounded outlet. Mount it in a dry or protected spot, away from direct water spray. Clearance matters. Keep it at least 3 feet from anything flammable, and maintain 7 feet of clearance above occupants. Aim it at seating or standing areas, not at walls. If you want consistent comfort, pair it with a wall-mounted thermostat to hold the temperature you prefer.
