What’s Inside: Halogen, Coating, and a Tough Connector
We use a halogen-filled quartz tube because it keeps the heating element clean and the output steady over time. The internal halogen cycle prevents blackening, so you get consistent radiation performance from start to finish. Many units also have a reflective coating on the quartz. It does two things: directs more energy forward and shields nearby components from excess heat. And the R7s connector? It’s a straight-through, high-temperature ceramic base that handles the heat without flinching. Installation is simple—just wire it up and bolt it in. It’s a true drop-in replacement, no hassle.
